O que você irá fazer

  • **Responsibilities**:MOTech engineers work on funds next generation distributed post trade processing system that provides a real-time view into the firms trades, positions, PNL and risk.
  • Our system needs to process massive volumes of trade and market data in a latency sensitive manner with correctness, consistency and reliability in mind.
  • We work in an agile environment, and participate in all aspects of SDE life-cycle from design, development, testing to deployment and support.
  • As an engineer, you have a chance to work on various parts of this system, and get a first-hand working knowledge of how a trade moves from execution to settlement.
  • Our system is continually evolving in terms of both scale as well as new business features.
  • **Skills**:Must have- Strong Java developer- Experience with Testing Frameworks- Strong database experience - particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL- Ability to gather and understand requirements by working through and understanding how legacy code base (Perl/python) works in order to assess its limitations and build improved solutions- Ability to triage complex operational issues during on-call support rotation- Strong communication to work with development and the business teamsNice to have- Experience in Perl would be helpful, at the minimum being able to read/debug Perl code and basic familiarity is fine if they have the ability to understand the processes.
  • Not expected to write any new perl code.
  • - Python (basic support scripts for Java processes: light scripting, server startup/process automation)- Finance / Operations/ Security Master experience is a plus but not required.
