  • Job DescriptionImplement an effective auditing system for all hotel revenues and receipts.
  • Provide detailed analysis as required for accounting and cost control teams.
  • Generate Daily Revenue Flash reports for Department Heads, including all necessary revenue and statistical figures.
  • Monitor data input accuracy by operational staff.
  • Audit charges to city ledger and credit card companies before forwarding to Accounts Receivable.
  • Audit daily revenue summaries for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other operated departments, along with supporting transaction reports.
  • Audit telephone revenue.
  • Audit revenues from departments such as Laundry, Fitness Centre, and Business Centre.
  • Verify that all banquet revenues are recorded by cross-checking with function orders.
  • Review paid-out and allowance vouchers for accuracy and proper approval.
  • Verify supports for complimentary and house use rooms, and rate variations.
  • Spot check the accuracy of room rates in the system.
  • Reconcile computer reports for occupied rooms against Housekeeping reports, and prepare Room Reconciliation reports for the Finance Manager.
  • Review house use and entertainment checks for propriety and authorization.
  • Check outlet price setups in the system for accuracy.
  • Assist in setting up Meal Packages in Opera, reconcile daily transactions, and correct postings as needed.
  • Audit Food & Beverage outlet checks for voids and cancellations, ensuring proper approval.
  • Audit the General Cashiers Report against recorded cash movements.
  • Ensure Daily Revenue Flash reports reflect all daily transactions.
  • Verify the use of pre-numbered forms and checks, investigating any irregularities.
  • Review guest ledger balances daily and investigate questionable transactions.
  • Investigate late charges and skippers, notifying relevant Department Heads and forwarding details to the Finance Manager.
  • Ensure all temporary folios are closed periodically.
  • QualificationsBachelor''s Degree in Finance or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Professional Finance or Accounting Certification (e.

  • Minimum of 3 years'' experience, preferably in the international luxury hospitality industry or a recognized blue-chip organization.
  • Strong understanding of key financial and accounting processes.
