  • Nicholas Alphaville is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Programme Coordinator to join our team.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with a passion for the International Baccalaureate to take on a leadership role within the IB Diploma Programme (DP) .
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the DP, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.

  • Main responsibilities within the role: To coordinate and oversee the implementation of the IB DP across all subject areas, ensuring alignment with IB standards and the schools philosophy.
  • To lead and manage a team of DP teachers, providing support and guidance to ensure effective teaching and learning.
  • To monitor and track the academic progress of DP students, ensuring that appropriate interventions are made to support individual needs.
  • To work closely with the school leadership team, coordinators, and the DP Coordinator in Pinheiros to ensure the overall success of the DP at St.
  • Nicholas Alphaville.
  • To oversee the administration of the DP assessments, ensuring the correct processes are followed and deadlines are met.
  • To communicate with parents and guardians regularly regarding students' progress and to address any concerns.
  • To collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to learning across all subject areas.
  • To support the development of the schools DP curriculum, ensuring it remains innovative and relevant to the needs of students.
  • To contribute to the professional development of the teaching staff by organizing workshops, training, and mentoring.
  • To actively promote the values and philosophy of the IB, including inquiry-based learning, international-mindedness, and holistic student development.
  • Required Skills and Attributes: Fluency in English (Essential) A relevant degree in Education, or a related field (Essential) Experience as a DP Coordinator or a similar leadership role within an IB school (Highly Desirable) In-depth knowledge and experience of the IB DP curriculum and assessment (Essential) Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills (Essential) Ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators (Essential) Proven track record of successful student outcomes in the IB DP (Highly Desirable) Commitment to student-centered learning and the holistic development of students (Essential) Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and commitment to child protection policies (Essential) Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and stimulating international environment (Essential) Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of a diverse student body (Essential) We offer: A competitive salary (Brazilian CLT work contract).
