O que você irá fazer

  • DescriçãoAssume responsibility for the effective delivery of the second line compliance function for our client in Brazil, integral to the three lines of defense framework.
  • Oversee the Brazil Compliance team, which comprises officers specializing in both financial crime and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of the target operating model as established by our client in Brazil.
  • Integrate Brazilian regulatory requirements into the comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks of the organization.
  • Facilitate our client''s ability to identify imminent changes within the regulatory landscape and to enact necessary revisions to its policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance.
  • Manage the Brazil Compliance policy framework and guarantee that robust second line monitoring and testing are conducted, providing assurance to the board regarding the organization''s compliance status.
  • Promote a strong compliance culture within our client''s operations in Brazil to enhance risk awareness in alignment with the three lines of defense model.
  • Additionally, coordinate and/or deliver training sessions for relevant personnel, as deemed necessary.
  • Prepare compliance reports for our client''s Brazil board as well as for local and global committees.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with local regulatory authorities.
  • Foster robust relationships with LATAM product teams to engender a culture of compliance, enabling proactive consideration of compliance risks and opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify emerging trends across our client''s product offerings and collaborate with product teams in the region to mitigate potential risks.
  • Perfil desejávelWe seek an individual with a deep passion for payments, fintech, and compliance management, who possesses a forward-thinking mindset.
  • The ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance within a financial institution.
  • Bachelor''s Degree or similar in Law.
  • Proficiency in English (FLUENT).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment in Brazil.
  • Experience working with local regulatory authorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project coordination and management capabilities.
  • A willingness to challenge teams and oneself to optimally serve customers while ensuring robust and compliant processes.
  • The capacity for regular international travel.
  • A sense of camaraderie and a positive demeanor, particularly when under pressure or facing tight deadlines.
  • Experience as a leader and mentor for junior team members within our client''s Brazil operation.
