  • Position Overview (Contract or Fulltime Hire) Dream Payments is seeking a strategic Guidewire integration partner to help us transition our existing on-premise Dream Payments Claims Payout accelerator kit, to a cloud compatible accelerator kit.
  • The objective is to make our Dream Payments Claims Payout accelerator kit available to existing Guidewire Cloud-Native customers.
  • With the insurance industry rapidly adopting Guidewire Cloud-native solutions, we aim to align with Guidewires recommended cloud integration strategy to enhance scalability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve time to market.
  • You will possess: Guidewire Cloud Expertise Experience in on-premise to cloud migrations, Guidewire Integration Framework, Cloud Code Assessments and DevConnect certifications.
  • Proven Track Record Case studies demonstrating successful cloud-based Guidewire integrations for enterprise insurers across US and Canada.
  • Time-to-Market & Methodology A structured approach with an estimated timeline, risk mitigation strategy, and best practices.
  • Value Proposition & Pricing Transparent cost structures and long-term / ongoing support models for cloud-based integrations.
  • Post-Implementation Support Clarity around the ongoing support, maintenance, and training services provided.
  • Responsibilities: Cloud Migration Strategy & Planning Collaborate with the Dream Payments team to define a clear roadmap for transitioning the existing on-premise Claims Payout Accelerator Kit to a cloud-compatible solution.
  • Develop and execute a cloud migration strategy that aligns with Guidewire's best practices and cloud-native solutions, ensuring scalability and high performance.
  • Guidewire Integration Work closely with the Dream Payments product and technical teams to integrate our existing Claims Payout Accelerator Kit with Guidewire Cloud-Native platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
  • Customize and configure the accelerator kit to ensure compatibility with Guidewires cloud architecture and integration standards.
  • Scalability & Performance Optimization Ensure that the cloud-based accelerator kit is optimized for scalability and high availability in a cloud environment.
  • Conduct performance testing and optimization to meet industry standards and deliver enhanced user experience.
  • Enhance Time to Market Assist in reducing time to market by providing technical guidance on cloud deployments, leveraging Guidewires cloud solutions for faster implementation.
  • Identify and implement improvements that streamline deployment and integration processes for faster time to value.
  • Maintenance and Cost Efficiency Assist in identifying opportunities for reducing ongoing maintenance costs, including providing recommendations on automation and cloud-based management tools.
  • Ensure the solution is future-proof and easy to maintain by adhering to cloud-native principles that minimize operational overhead.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication Act as the primary technical liaison between Dream Payments, Guidewire, and other key stakeholders throughout the integration process.
  • Provide regular updates and clear communication on progress, timelines, and any potential risks or issues that may arise during the migration.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams regarding the cloud-based solution, including any new tools, processes, or technologies introduced during the migration.
  • Train Dream Payments technical staff on maintaining and managing the cloud-compatible Claims Payout Accelerator Kit.
  • Post-Deployment Support Offer post-deployment support to ensure the smooth functioning of the new cloud-based solution, addressing any issues or improvements that may arise post-launch.
  • Provide guidance on monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the solution for continued success in a cloud-native environment.
  • Compliance and Security Ensure the cloud solution adheres to industry standards for data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, particularly relevant in the insurance and financial services sectors.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of customer data.
  • Qualifications: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter Guidewire development and integrations Experience in implementing Guidewire application customizations, integrations, and system upgrades.
  • Experience with certifying and packaging applications to be submitted into the Guidewire Marketplace for cloud-native deployments.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry workflows, particularly policy administration, billing, and claims management.
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is highly preferred.
  • Guidewire Certified Professional or Ace certifications are highly preferred, but not a must.
  • Experience with Guidewire Digital suite (CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage) and/or Guidewire Analytics.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and Guidewire cloud-native development practices.
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, InsuranceNow).
  • Proficiency in GOSU programming language and Guidewire integration tools.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SOA architecture, RESTful/SOAP web services, and API integration.
  • Expertise in Java, SQL, and related technologies (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
