O que você irá fazer

  • We are a new breed of investment firm: our team members are business builders, not merely capital providers.
  • Our unique model turns conventional private equity and VC on its head: we begin with our own business ideas, recruit management teams to execute on them, and then capitalize on these ventures.
  • The vast majority of the firms capital will be invested in ideas incubated internally.
  • We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support Downing Capital Groups fundraising efforts with investors for both the fund and portfolio companies, while also playing a key role in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • This role will involve helping establish and maintain investor relationships, assisting with fundraising initiatives, and supporting portfolio companies with financial modeling, reporting, and dashboards.
  • How youll make an impact:FP&A Responsibilities for Portfolio Companies:Develop and maintain scalable financial models to support business planning, fundraising, and investor reporting.
  • Support portfolio companies in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business goals and investor expectations.
  • Create automated dashboards and reports to track key financial and operational metrics, providing real-time insights.
  • Standardize financial templates and playbooks to ensure efficiency and consistency across portfolio companies.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering strategic recommendations.
  • Develop frameworks for scaling FP&A support, ensuring seamless financial operations as portfolio companies grow.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring data integrity and investor readiness.
  • Assist in due diligence processes, ensuring financial models and data are investor-ready.
  • Identify and qualify leads for fundraising, leveraging financial insights to target the right investors.
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential investors and strategic partners.
  • Manage investor pipelines in the CRM, tracking outreach efforts, follow-ups, and interactions systematically.
  • Coordinate investor meetings and follow-ups, ensuring clear communication and timely responses.
  • Develop financial benchmarks and performance KPIs, helping portfolio companies position themselves effectively for fundraising.
  • What youll bring to the table:Strong analytical and financial modeling skills in Excel.
  • Strong FP&A background - Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and investor reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for investor interactions and reporting.
  • Highly organized and structured with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude in a dynamic work environment with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to scale processes for multiple portfolio companies.
  • Experience with investor relations is a plus.
