  • The Finance function at Marex is a control department responsible for reviewing, analysing and reporting financial information externally and to internal stakeholders.
  • The Finance department is also responsible to ensure that the financial controls are met across the firm.
  • Role SummaryEnsure that financial and management accounting requirements for the Marex Solutions division in Brazil are met in a timely and accurate manner and contribute to the overall financial control environment.
  • This role will also be responsible to drive Finance transformation and change in Brazil and in line with the overall Marex Solutions transformation agenda.
  • ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Finance activities for Marex Solutions Brazil and effectively work with the global Finance team.
  • Transition of the finance functions currently performed by Operations team, into the Finance department.
  • Establish a control framework around payments, cost accruals and other Finance functions.
  • Key Finance contact in Brazil for Group Legal Entity Control, UK Accounts Payable, Treasury and Product Control with regard to control environment, financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Assist in building out the Finance function in a growing entity and region.

  • SOX, Balance sheet substantiation and monthly P&L reporting).
  • Work closely with Brazil Solutions Operations and global COOs to drive current and future initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with the companys regulatory requirements under the FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS and any other relevant local regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
