O que você irá fazer

  • The main role will be to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing support on the management in financial & operational functions.
  • This is a full-time position for 12 months and will be based in São Paulo, Brazil.
  • The Finance and Operations, Associate will report to and support the Finance and Operations Manager.
  • **Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:- Provide financial and administrative support.
  • - Ensure financial records are accurately maintained.
  • - Process accounts payable invoices and payment approval.
  • - Prepare accounts receivable invoices.
  • - Ensure all finances are managed in alignment with the government regulations, company and clients financial policies and procedures.
  • - Support the Manager to prepare, review budgets, monthly financial reports and expenditure forecasts.
  • - Ensure applicable tax withholding and deductions are taken care of as per the Brazilian laws and regulations on all payments.
  • - Work closely with the accounting service provider to ensure accurate financial report.
  • - When applicable, assist with an internal or external audit activity.
  • - Provide support on the administrative management, subcontractor´s contracting, procurement, logistics and safe and security aspects.
  • - Perform other duties as assigned.
  • **Required Qualifications**:- A Bachelors Degree (minimum), or a Masters Degree (desirable), in Accounting, Business Management, Economic, or other relevant field; - Work experience in broader finance and administration management, including office management, HR, finance, IT, and logistics; - Able to communicate effectively and excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships at all levels; - High level of computerliteracy (proficiency in MS Excel would be added advantage); - Excellent financial and analytical skills; - Proven problem identification and resolution experience with budgeting, forecasting, banking, tax authorities, foreign currency transactions, and other related issues; - Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive issues and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times; - Fluency in Portuguese and English - excellent written and verbal communication skills; - Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil.
