  • The Service Operation is looking for a Field Service Technician/ Engineer specializing in power equipment.
  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our power systems.
  • You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of power equipment, working directly with customers to provide top-notch technical support.
  • The individual will be reporting to the Service Operation Manager in the Philippines.
  • Your mission as a Field Service Engineer in power equipment includes: Ensuring reliability and efficiency for equipment with zero breakdowns.
  • Complying with and upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Valuing teamwork and collaboration among our team members, believing that collective effort leads to greater success.
  • The main responsibilities will include: Leading & supervising the project team at site set up & demob.
  • Understanding the operation of generators & their components.
  • Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics in electrical wiring, control systems, and power distribution.
  • Performing mechanical repairs, including engines, alternators, and cooling systems.
  • Installing and commissioning generator systems, conducting preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of equipment.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on power equipment to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues of equipment swiftly to minimize disruptions to client operations.
  • Dealing directly with clients or end users in various locations.
  • Being a self-starter with the ability to read & understand technical manuals.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures, especially those related to electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Customer Support: Exhibiting clear communication skills to explain technical issues.
  • Maintaining good customer relationships and responding to emergencies and solutions for clients and team members.
  • Providing exceptional customer service through on-site and remote support.
  • Addressing client concerns and educating them on equipment use and maintenance.
  • Supporting the maintenance of rental fleet spare parts inventory, including data entry of spare parts movement.
  • Managing multiple service calls and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge / Educational Requirements: Degree / Diploma in Electrical Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Valid driver''s license for travel.
  • Industry experience working with generators, including installation, maintenance, and repair is preferable.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability.
  • Willingness to travel to any worksite/branch for temporary job assignments.
  • Willingness to be on standby duty during weekends/PH and after working hours.
