O que você irá fazer

  • Both market sectors require similar engineering skill sets, and our breadth of experience in offshore structures and environments allows us to provide expertise at all stages of a project: feasibility and concept design, detailed design, procurement management, fabrication support, installation support, monitoring, integrity management, asset life extension and decommissioning.
  • 2H Offshore is looking to add an Engineer to their expanding team in Rio de Janeiro.
  • As an Engineer, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary project team, gaining experience across a wide variety of projects allowing you to perform design activities including calculations, dynamic structural analysis and system configuration for a variety of subsea, platform and renewable energy structures.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring acceptable structural and fatigue performance of the designs, whilst considering the functional, fabrication, installation and in-service requirements.
  • The role will also involve the communication of technical results and conclusions to other members of the team and clients through meetings, presentations and written reports.
  • We use a number of software packages, from specialist global analysis tools such as Flexcom, Orcaflex and SACS, to general-purpose finite element analysis and design tools such as Ansys and Solidworks.
  • The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

  • Duties - Undertaking either riser analysis, mooring analysis, conductor analysis or installation analysis in Flexcom or OrcaFlex or ANSYS - Developing calculations sheets in excel - Report Writing - Communication of technical results and conclusions to other members of the team and clients through meetings, presentations and written reportsRequired - Degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, structural, offshore, etc.
  • ), mathematics, physics, or similar - Fluent English - Aptitude and enthusiasm for carrying out complex analytical work efficiently - Excellent problem-solving skills - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Strong planning and organisation skills - Desire to take responsibility and ownership of tasks - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Previous experience with industry-standard software is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided - A strong desire to develop their career and expertise in the renewables energy and/or oil and gas industry - Willingness and flexibility to travel to have face to face meetings with clients - Desire to achieve technical and personal excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
