O que você irá fazer

  • This role is critical in advancing our computational fluid dynamics (CFD) capabilities, driving the development of cutting-edge simulations to optimize product performance and efficiency across various applications.
  • What You Will DoLead the development and implementation of CFD methodologies to analyze complex fluid flow, heat transfer, and chemical reactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall engineering goals.
  • Design and execute simulation plans, including grid generation, model setup, and validation against experimental data.
  • Utilize advanced post-processing techniques to analyze simulation results, identifying key insights and communicating findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CFD technology, integrating new tools and methodologies into the engineering workflow.
  • Perform advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling for quantitative risk analysis, including Fire and Explosion analysis, Gas Detectors allocation, Flame Detection Allocation, Exhaust and Vent dispersion, Smoke and Gas Dispersion, Flare Radiation Analysis, and Helideck Turbulence Analysis.

  • , HAZOP, HAZID) and vulnerability analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Support Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Implement and maintain ABS Quality System requirements relative to responsibilities after undergoing ABS Quality System training.
  • Draft technically accurate and timely reports, and responses to letters, faxes, and other forms of communication.
  • What You Will Need:Education and Experience:Masters in chemical, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on fluid dynamics and experience on O&G projects.
  • Experience in CFD analysis, with proficiency in industry-standard software such as FLACS, KFX, CFX, ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or COMSOL.
  • Solid understanding of turbulence modeling, heat transfer, and multiphase flow dynamics.

  • Experience in Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).

  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings.
