**Why work for us?**- Join a global leader in the field- Surround yourself with experts- International company with opportunities for travel**What youll be doing**Key elements of your role include:- Participating in decision-making about the maintenance of the machines- Supervising trainees on the work floor- Setting up first line maintenance**Operational tasks - Corrective maintenance**- Analyzing and resolving breakdowns in the event of unplanned machine downtime (in collaboration with the supplier)- Sourcing and collecting the necessary parts and components (mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic)- Carrying out measurements based on diagrams, manuals, etc.
, on components in relation to Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic performance- Resolving faults and breakdowns by repairing or replacing parts and components- Reporting about breakdowns that involve major repair work or a special approach- Maintaining relationships with, and providing guidance to, suppliers**Operational tasks - Modifications**- Researching the possibilities for modifications or additions to the existing production resources- Making assessments, based on previous experience, about the extent to which modifications and additions are possible, and a rough estimate of the costs involved- Implementing changes in existing switching systems to increase the processing speed or to reduce the risk of breakdowns**Operational tasks - Preventive maintenance**- Assuring compliance with all the requirements in relation to safety, statutory rules, internal rules, health, environment, and quality- Carrying out preventative maintenance in accordance with the set standards and procedures- Carrying out and/or supervising maintenance stops carried out by internal employees, contract workers, and suppliers- Management and coordination of repairs to hand tools- Making recommendations about new investments, participating in new projects**Continuous Improvement**- Contributing ideas for the continuous improvement of the work process- Participating in improvement projects, and giving advice to the project leaders about machines**What were looking for**- A qualification at intermediate vocational level, in electrical engineering and/or mechatronics, or equivalent work experience- Knowledge and experience mechatronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics- Command of local language and English at intermediate vocational level- Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage- Working with people; Shows respect for the views and contributions of other team members; listens to others;builds team spirit and reconciles conflict; adapts to the team and fits in well- Adhering to principle and values; Demonstrates integrity**Commitment to Global Safety**As a Marel employee you are expected to respect internal rules and actively contribute to the delivery of the corporate Safety policy and guidance to ensure Marel is a safe place to work.
