  • We are looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor to join Wärtsilä Brazil, on a commissioning project run by Wärtsilä SAM Electronics GmbH - one of the world''s leading electrical system integrators in shipbuilding in Germany.
  • This position is based in Itajaí/SC, Brazil and will be reporting to the Manager Construction Sites, and travel may be required.
  • ** PLEASE SUBMIT RESUMES IN ENGLISH **Main activities:Supervision of electrical installation services, during the installation phase of cable plant and major equipment and setting to workTechnical supervision as well as monitoring the progress of the respective installation and setting to work activitiesAssistance of project related processes, specifications and initiation of quality assurance measuresAssistance for the respective quality assuranceAssistance during handover of the respective electrical installation area or system to class and customerClarification of open issues with W-SAM engineering and sub supplierSupport for the engineering for installation related questionsEnsure the reporting to the sub supplier team, Site Supervision Manager and the project managerRecognize and mitigate risks in the installation area or the system (HSE, technical and commercial)Support sub supplier to recognize, report and track additional costsSupport sub supplier to coordinate the respective subcontractors on board and respective electrical tasks, resources and due datesAssist sub supplier in work preparation of the respective installation tasksRequirements:Technical course in ElectricalCFT registerDegree in Electrical Engineering will be a plusExperience working as a field electrical professionalExperience in reading and following technical (standard) documentsExperience in commissioning will be a plusAdvanced English (written and spoken)Skills:Communicate effectively with customers & colleaguesSafety-orientedTeam managementProblem-solvingPlanning and target settingReporting and analytical skillsAt Wärtsilä we value, respect and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.
