  • Lead the planning and execution of content initiatives that meet audience needs and drive brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content supports broader organizational goals.
  • Identify emerging trends and topics, guiding the team on content creation and staying ahead of industry shifts.
  • Team Management & Development:Lead, mentor, and inspire the editorial team, fostering a creative, collaborative, and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct regular team reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve content quality and team performance.
  • Set clear editorial goals, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Hire, training, and retain editorial talent, developing the teams skills and growth opportunities.
  • Content Creation & Editing:Oversee content creation, from ideation to publication, ensuring content is accurate, on-brand, and relevant.
  • Ensure all editorial work adheres to high-quality standards, maintaining consistency in style, tone, and voice.
  • Review and edit articles, blog posts, reports, and other materials for clarity, grammar, and accuracy.
  • Lead editorial reviews and ensure content is optimized for SEO and audience engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:Analyze and report on content performance across different channels, using metrics to adjust and refine strategies.
  • Use data insights to improve engagement, readership, and overall content effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to monitor content performance and adjust strategies to meet KPIs.
  • Brand & Voice Stewardship:Maintain a consistent editorial voice across all content, ensuring that it reflects the brands values and resonates with the target audience.
  • Oversee content that communicates the brands tone, mission, and messaging consistently across all touchpoints.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with key stakeholders (marketing, product, design, and leadership) to create content that meets business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate content into campaigns and initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between the editorial team and other departments to ensure alignment and cohesion.
  • RequirementsExperience:7+ years of experience in editorial leadership, content strategy, or journalism.
  • Proven track record of leading editorial teams and managing content production across multiple platforms.
  • Strong experience in digital content, SEO, and audience engagement.
  • Skills:Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of content marketing, audience targeting, and performance metrics.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating teams.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), editorial tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Fluent in English (writing and listen)Education:Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Preferred Skills:Experience in Sports industry.
  • Familiarity with multimedia content formats (videos, podcasts, etc.
