  • This role is crucial in ensuring that the Brazil & South Zone meets its sustainability goals and complies with environmental regulations.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field, with proven experience in project management and sustainability reporting.
  • What Youll Do for UsEnsure compliance with the Sustainability Strategy (Water, Packaging, Emissions) at the South Region level, in line with LAOU Sustainability guidelines; coordinate with TCCC inall countries.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics and progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with finance, technical, and strategic planning teams to meet global and regional reporting requirements.
  • Identify and reapply synergies and best practices within the South Region; stay updated on external sustainability trends and regional agenda.
  • Serve as the focal point for interfacing with the LAOU Sustainability team, sharing information, trends, and risks.
  • Partner with Technical, Marketing, and Operations teams to embed sustainability principles across the South Region.
  • Integrate the Sustainability Agenda into business planning, leadership, growth behaviors, company values, and strategic plans to promote sustainable growth.
  • Engage with key local stakeholders within the sustainability ecosystem across the region.
  • Collaborate with Government Relations to provide evidence to support the business against restrictive regulations.
  • Work with External Communications to promote positive content and enhance corporate reputation.
  • Lead institutional relationships with bottlers.
  • Focus approximately 70% of efforts on short- to mid-term strategies, and 30% on long-term planning.
  • Work FocusStakeholder engagement: Build long-term partnerships with NGOs, civil society, and other industries.
  • Strategic vision: Translate complex challenges into actionable strategies.
  • Leadership presence: Lead cross-functional teams and influence across company and Coca-Cola System areas.
  • Networked mindset: Build partnerships with government, associations, opinion leaders, NGOs, etc.
  • People development: Foster an environment for potential growth and high performance.
  • Company spokesperson: Represent the company externally at forums and events related to sustainability, adhering to communication guidelines.
  • Communication FocusThis role involves representing the company externally and engaging internally to ensure strategic sustainability initiatives are executed effectively, with a focus on KPI progress towards long-term goals.
  • The ability to foster collaboration and find convergence among divergent opinions is essential.
  • Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor''s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in sustainability or related areas, with progressive leadership roles and impactful initiatives.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Mastery of (Required)Deep understanding of sustainability, climate change, and social impact concepts.
  • Proficiency with sustainability management tools (externality studies, impact matrices, sustainability reports).
  • Knowledge of water, packaging, and carbon emissions challenges in the industry.
  • Strong business acumen to leverage sustainability for value creation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work agilely across teams inside and outside the organization.
  • Broad Expertise in (Nice to Have)Community engagement experience.
  • Knowledge in economic development, environmental policy, climate change, human rights, diversity & inclusion.
  • Experience building partnerships with public, private, and civil society organizations.
  • Government affairs experience.
  • Participation in external debates and forums.
