  • That means, oftentimes, an IMAX movie is conceived as an IMAX movie with the filmmaker working with IMAX to decide which parts should be shot with an IMAX camera, what kinds of techniques make the most of the IMAX screen, sound and theatre, and how the drama should unfold to take advantage of IMAXs larger format, richer color, sheer scale and impact.
  • Position Overview This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align engineering efforts with organizational goals.
  • The Director oversees the teams technical direction, ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise applications, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and leadership for the software engineering team, ensuring alignment with the companys goals and objectives Oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise applications leveraging AWS, Angular, Java, Node.
  • js, and related technologies Build and nurture a high-performing engineering organization, including hiring, mentoring, and retaining top talent Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and drive project execution Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes Ensure effective utilization of tools like JIRA and Confluence to enhance collaboration and transparency.
  • Drive the adoption of modern software development methodologies, tools, and technologies Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to optimize team performance Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the engineering roadmap Advocate for a customer-centric approach in all aspects of software development Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles (e.
