  • This is your opportunity to go further and impact the future of urban mobility.
  • We are seeking a Digital Solutions System Architect to lead the high-level design and technical direction of our global elevator digital solutions.
  • This role will oversee the architecture of embedded systems, IoT solutions, and connectivity platforms, ensuring seamless integration, security, and scalability across our next-generation elevator technology.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining best practices, making key technology decisions, and acting as a technical liaison between teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Key Responsibilities:High-Level System Design: Define the architectural vision and technical roadmap for IoT-enabled digital elevator solutions, ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams in implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable digital solutions.
  • System Architecture Modeling: Create and maintain UML diagrams, system models, and technical documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in system design.
  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring reliability and performance of digital elevator solutions.
  • Technology & Tooling Decisions: Select appropriate development platforms, frameworks, tools, and environments for digital projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison between embedded software teams, security teams, cloud infrastructure teams, and external partners.
  • Security & Compliance: Work closely with security specialists to integrate cybersecurity best practices into all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure that all software and system designs are optimized for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with exceptional GPA.
  • Experience:5-7 years experience with computer science or software engineering related project work in embedded development (preferably in projects involving complex systems similar to elevator and escalators).
  • Technical Skills:Outstanding programming skills with expertise in one or more languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python.
  • Deep knowledge of UML and system modeling methodologies.
  • Strong background in embedded systems, IoT protocols, and cloud integration.
  • Experience with cybersecurity principles, secure development lifecycle, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS), Linux embedded, and microcontroller architectures.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, RS485, MQTT, and industrial IoT standards.
  • Strong understanding of linear algebra, discrete mathematics, calculus, and statistics.
  • Experience with hardware development and manufacturing processes are desired.
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and automation frameworks is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:Outstanding creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership with a collaborative, upbeat personality.
  • Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team environment, managing multiple priorities and adjusting to shifting requirements.
  • Language:Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of additional languages, such as German and/or Spanish, are beneficial.
