Job Description We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Graphic Designer based in Sao Paulo and are offering the successful candidate an exceptional opportunity to join our exciting creative team working for a leading global online casino brand on 2 local Brazilian brands.
Your role as Designer is to assist in the delivery of digital creative for an online gaming company and we are preferably looking for someone with specific experience in online casino and bingo design, although not essential.
You will be integral to the development and delivery of the brand's creative output, adapting our global campaigns to the Brazilian look and feel, working directly with the PlayUZU / BacanaPlay team Lead based in Spain and internal copywriters based in Sao Paulo.
The applicant should have 3-4 years' commercial design experience with 1-2 years experience in designing and producing digital marketing creative, both static and animated display and social banners, web banners, CRM images within a fast-paced design studio environment.
We want someone with strong digital ideation skills who is used to developing visual concepts on their own, but occasionally also with copywriters.
We need someone that can hit the ground running, is proactive, a conceptual designer and an innovator with knowledge and experience across all digital platforms.
Experience designing and exporting HTML5 display banners as well as working with After Effects is a pre-requisite for this role.
You will have a solid digital portfolio and show a diverse range of styles, skills, and creative abilities.
You are also ideally someone with experience across international markets (Spain / Latin America).
You will collaborate on projects with teams as a digital designer but also act to ensure that creative and innovative standards are upheld, and creative boundaries are pushed.
Your role is supported by other designers (based in Spain, Uruguay, Cyprus & London), the brand team and Creative Lead and vice versa, with you being responsible for monitoring your own timings, schedules, briefs and following up tasks that are set, Quality Assurance and adhering to the marketing teams schedule.
You will also need to be familiar with workflow management systems like ClickUp as you will be required to use this software for all day-to-day work and to record time spent on briefs etc.
This is a hybrid working (home & office) position, to which you will report to your Line Manager (based in Barcelona) on weekly online 121s but also liaise with the rest of the team based in Sao Paulo once / twice a week in our office.
Responsibilities Proactively generate digital concepts and creative ideas for the brand, visualise and present to the wider team.
Design and build animated display and social banner campaigns using Bannerflow, WebFlow and AfterEffects.
Design static website hero banners, CRM banners, web landing pages and after effect animations for social media digital banners.
Design creative in print work (branded merchandise, direct mailers etc).
Have a basic understanding of UX / UI design principles.
Collaborate with other designers on digital campaigns.
Pragmatically approach projects to ensure both creative and business needs are met.
Regularly collaborate with our wider marketing teams.
Keeping Project management team well briefed on current timings, status, and potential issues.
Understand and work within the company's brand guidelines.
Present to management.
Attend monthly design / marketing meetings.
Produce internal and social media promotional materials.
Review and QA assets and materials created by external agencies.
What we are looking for : Basic software requirements : Adobe applications; Photoshop / Illustrator / Animate / InDesign / After Effects / XD or Figma.
Microsoft 365 applications.
HTML5 / CSS coding - would be an advantage but not essential.
3D Blender or any 3D software - would also be an advantage but not essential.
WebFlow would be an advantage but not essential.
Experience in using AI tools would also be desirable.
Required experience / qualifications : Be a native Portuguese speaker but also fluent in English, both speaking and written, to be able to communicate with the central teams and to participate in both Spanish and English speaking meetings.
(Spanish is an advantage but not essential).
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
3-4 years of relevant experience in a design role.
A strong portfolio displaying design skills and projects.
Knowledge of design trends and principles.
