  • Descripción del trabajo 3M is seeking a Data Science Specialist located in Brazil to join the Corporate Services & Operational Excellence (CSOE) Data Analytics team (CODA) within Integrated Business Operations (IBO).
  • Job Summary: We are currently looking for individuals with strong backgrounds in data science and business analysis to join our team.
  • Our CODA data science chapter focuses on identifying opportunities to apply machine learning (ML) to solve problems such as automation, prediction, and personalization.
  • We empower IBO for growth, operational excellence, and effective risk control.
  • Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Work with large sets of relevant and high-quality data, including but not limited to direct sales, point of sale, CRM data, and industry data.
  • Apply powerful learning algorithms to make predictions and gain predictive insights for sales estimation, AR overdue forecast, order fulfillment predicting, targeting/customer clustering, text analysis, anomaly detection, and more.
  • Use optimization techniques to transform predictions into actionable prescriptions.
  • Ensure that actions taken and relevant metrics are stored to achieve business value.
  • Basic Qualifications: Possess a bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one year of combined experience in predictive and prescriptive data analytics.
  • Good skills on machine learning algorithms, Python, SQL, etc.
  • , with 2+ years of experience.
  • Advanced English.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Strong technical expertise, including intermediate-level data processing, machine learning algorithms, programming language scripting, data visualization, basic ML Ops platform knowledge, and probability and statistics.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with good business understanding and knowledge.
  • Experience working within a globally matrixed organization.
  • Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international travel.
