  • About the position We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Intelligence team in our Porto Alegre office.
  • In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our organization's data-driven initiatives.
  • You will also be responsible for transforming and organizing raw data into structured and meaningful information, enabling key business insights and decisions.
  • Main challenges Design, implement, and optimize ELT processes to ingest, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources into a centralized data platform.
  • Develop and implement strategies for data monitoring, performance optimization, and governance, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate on data modeling using DBT to transform raw data into well-structured, actionable information.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and data requirements.
  • Stay updated with emerging data technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Requirements Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with data extraction tools such as Airflow or Airbyte.
  • Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure as a code.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of BI tools.
  • Desirable Qualifications Knowledge of DBT for data modeling and transformations.
  • Knowledge of data catalog tools such as OpenMetadata or DataHub.
