  • Our opportunity We are looking for our new Customer Implementation Specialist to join our team.
  • Main responsibilities: Reporting to the Area Head of Customer Implementation , the Customer Implementation Specialist is responsible for leading the implementation of new customers for accounts within the region or area, with a medium level of complexity, geographic scope, scale, and business impact.
  • The role acts as a bridge between commercial and operational activities to ensure a smooth transition of new business or expansions into the Maersk organization.
  • Project Management: Lead the overall project implementation plan across all geographies and ensure delivery from all involved functions.
  • Provide regular project status updates to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting critical milestones, Go/No-Go stages, and operational readiness criteria.
  • Escalate issues and mitigate risks for immediate resolution.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers, leading them through the onboarding process to ensure adherence to the approved project scope, acting as the central point of contact for implementation and issue resolution.
  • Customer Commitment Fulfillment: Work with relevant areas to define critical deliverables, such as SOP/IOP compliance across all origins and destinations, recruitment, training, and system readiness as part of Go-Live preparation.
  • Implementation Community: Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and apply new knowledge and best practices used by the Customer Implementation (CIM) community.
  • Seek guidance or clarification to enhance project implementation capabilities.
  • We are looking for: Bachelor degree completed Experience in the global logistics industry, with a proven track record in project implementations.
  • Good understanding of platforms, IT environments, and various supply chain solutions.
  • Project management certification or training, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar.
  • Digital project management tools, such as Asana and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced English and fluent Portuguese are mandatory.
  • Spanish is nice to have.
