  • What youd be doing in this role As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA.
  • This role is focused on: Strategy: Act as the main leadership point of contact with responsibility for overall user and revenue growth in Brazil.
  • You''ll bring together local and global teams across marketing, sales, product, content, and finance to create and execute a cohesive multi-year growth strategy, and own the KPIs including MAUs and ARR.
  • Localisation: Work closely with the regional team to optimise our product, content, pricing, and packaging to meet the needs of local users, informed by a deep understanding of local market dynamics and cultural nuances across a range of audiences.
  • Leadership: Hire, inspire, drive, and coach the in-market team, ensuring a high quality bar for impact and working closely with local specialty leads on performance management.
  • Budget: Partner closely with the regional team and marketing lead to shape the marketing strategy and deployment of budget.
  • Sponsorship: Build and support high-value relationships by acting as a local sponsor for enterprise sales, education, government, partnerships, etc.
  • Public face: Represent Canva as a local figurehead across press, PR, events, and community.
  • You''re probably a match if You are strongly entrepreneurial with a founder-style appetite for growing something big from a small start.
  • You possess experience growing a market, such as being a regional GM or brand lead for a global SaaS company, or as a proven founder or growth lead in a startup.
  • You are a proven leader, able to inspire and coach high-performing teams.
  • You are a strong communicator, fully proficient in spoken and written English, with the interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
  • You are keenly analytical, focused on KPIs and driving actionable insights from datasets.
  • You are product-oriented, passionate about improving user experience and translating local insights into product requirements.
  • You are values aligned, excited by Canvas mission and deeply aligned with our values.
  • You are publicity savvy, with experience doing public speaking and acting as a public face to stakeholders.
  • You are well networked, ideally with routes into government departments, corporates, influencers, journalists, and local talent.

  • As the Country Manager for Brazil, you will be the main point of contact and the driving force behind Canvas success in the country.
