  • Role OverviewAn exciting opportunity to join Salesforce Finance and the Revenue Operations Team as a Contract Specialist.
  • This skilled, independent role focuses on providing exceptional Quote-to-Cash support and guidance to Account Teams within our Commercial and Enterprise segments.
  • Responsibilities include deal structure advice, quote and contract support, deal calculations, and ensuring compliance with revenue and company policies.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of SaaS industry practices, Salesforce products, and company policies, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, think creatively, and communicate complex scenarios clearly.
  • Responsibilities Include:Responding to process and policy questions, effectively communicating requirements to Account Executives.
  • Assisting Sales Teams in quoting and addressing customer inquiries related to contracts, invoices, and product issues through research and feedback.
  • Performing calculations related to contract value, replacements, utilization, and overage scenarios.
  • Analyzing information, identifying key factors, and assessing impacts for exception approvals.
  • Managing queue-based cases within Omnichannel, redirecting cases as necessary.
  • Partnering with Pricing, Revenue Recognition, and Legal teams on contract issues and negotiations to ensure proper revenue recognition and operational feasibility.
  • Sharing best practices to enhance team efficiency and maintaining the knowledge base.
  • Training new team members and participating in User Acceptance Testing and other projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and SOX regulations.
  • Modeling professionalism, integrity, respect, and accountability.
  • Proper documentation and escalation of approval requests within SLA.
  • Required Skills/Experience:2+ years in customer order management, sales operations, or support roles.
  • Experience in contract structuring and commission calculations.
  • Desired Skills/Experience:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and debate issues effectively.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives and project management.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, growing environment with high accuracy and deadline management.
  • Strong business and financial understanding, multitasking, and adaptability.
  • Extreme attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce CRM experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
