  • **Job posting end date**: 10/20/2024IntroductionWe are seeking a Specialist Project Purchasing to join our Purchasing team.
  • You will be responsible for the timely issuance of POs, follow up activities, delivery performance and order management.
  • Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business.
  • In this position, you will report the Manager Project Purchasing.
  • This position is mainly located in Sorocaba/SP.
  • Team you belong toYou will join a team of Procurement Specialist dedicated to plays a critical role in the success of delivering excellent service to our Aftermarket project business.
  • He purpose of this role is to deliver contract business with on time delivery, proactive expediting and problem-solving skills while be thoroughly transparent to the internal stakeholders.

  • What youll do- Purchase goods, materials, components or services with specified costs, quality and delivery targets- Active follow through and vendor management of open orders, expediting and communications with internal and external partners- Provide support to internal stakeholders in effort to resolve systemic bottlenecks as requested- Participate and initiate kick off meetings with Project Management and Suppliers- Conduct all business transactions consistent with Global Procurement Policies, Metso policies, procedures and guidelines, legal requirements, regulations and standard and appropriate ethical standards- Manage the supplier invoices and prompt payment approvals as needed- Request, read and share supplier manufacturing reports and its contents- Create quality tickets for upcoming inspection requests and final quality review- Handoff order with all necessary components for global shipping- Reserve and follow all project stock transfersWho you areBachelors in Business, Engineering or relevant study preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in the machine and/or engineering field required.
  • Knowledge with contract managementEnglish advanced.
  • Ability to navigate ERP - SAP.
  • Travel may be required, possibly up to 10%.
