  • When You Join Johnson & Johnson, Your Next Move Could Mean Our Next Breakthrough!The Risk Management & Compliance Analyst supports the execution of the activities maintaining and improving the internal control environment of the Latin American business units, in order to guarantee that the businesses are aligned with the internal control, SOX processes and J&J corporate guides.
  • Additionally, the Compliance Analyst provides support in Due Diligence projects, Risk Based Assessments and the testing of the annual SOX plan.
  • This position reports to the Risk Management & Compliance Supervisor.
  • **Roles and responsibilities**Support compliance by providing guidance to business process owners, to create and maintain a strong internal control environment, including the required documentation, and that policies and procedures are aligned with latest Corporate SOX requirements.
  • This includes:- Assess financial and business risks associated with the control environment, help design and implementation of internal controls, and make recommendations for continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborates in the Risk Management & Compliance activities of the department, including: Compliance health check, advise and consult for Business Units (BU) and GSF.
  • - Propose corrective actions for identified gaps/weaknesses, provide support in the CAP resolution process, and support GU & BU teams to ensure internal control gaps are closed timely & effectively.
  • - Proactively communicate and report on findings and status of CAP.
  • - Partner with Compliance Team in driving consistency and standardization of controls and processes as it relates to J&Js end state model.
  • - Support the Compliance leadership team in achieving process improvements and standardization.
  • - Perform due diligence activities on transitions and process changes.
  • - Deliver training in alignment with compliance training program, to enhance & strengthen embedded compliance awareness.
  • - Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration that influence business outcomes.
  • - Critically review internal processes and procedures to drive continuous improvements and alignment (across sector, countries, functions and regions).
  • - Provide proactive consultation, interpretation and education of financial and operational matters, simply to drive effective controls and control environment.
  • **Qualifications**Qualifications and Requirements****Education**:- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • **Skills and experience**:- 2+ years of experience.
  • - Preferred experience in Big 4 companies.
  • - Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404, Accounting and Finance, USGAAP, COSO methodology (desirable).
  • Analysis and interpretation of data.
  • - Good planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • - Capable to work with new and changing situations.
  • - Good interpersonal, as well as both oral and written communication skills.
