O que você irá fazer

  • This role involves overseeing the safe and efficient execution of subsea installation activities, including risers, pipelines, and umbilicals.
  • Key Responsibilities: Represent the company on the offshore installation vessel and ensure that all operations follow approved procedures.
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture onboard, in line with the companys HSE standards.
  • Supervise offshore activities such as equipment transfer, deck operations, pipeline and riser installation, ROV tasks, and pre-commissioning.
  • Review and sign critical documents such as "Ready for Installation" and daily progress reports.
  • Communicate effectively with onshore teams and ensure proper handovers between shifts.
  • Monitor compliance with planned schedules and report any deviations.
  • Participate in risk analysis (HIRA) and emergency response coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment installation and ensure proper traceability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and marine warranty surveyors when needed.
  • Report daily progress, concerns, and improvements directly to the SURF Manager.
  • HSE & Quality Responsibilities: Ensure all operations are aligned with the projects HSE and quality standards.
  • Actively contribute to the projects safety culture and continuous performance improvement.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and awareness campaigns onboard.
  • Team and Reporting: Reports to the Deputy Installation Manager.
  • May supervise HSE officers, inspectors (NDT, coating, welding), marine warranty surveyors, and night shift company representatives.
  • Qualifications & Experience Required: Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore oil & gas, especially in SURF and EPCI projects.
  • Strong background in offshore construction, installation, and SIMOPS.
  • Familiarity with Brazilian offshore regulations and HSE rules.
  • Experience on PLSV, rigid lay vessels, and offshore construction ships.
  • Technical knowledge of: Rigid and flexible pipelay Risers installation (Lazy wave, SHR) Structures and subsea systems Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, lead offshore teams, and manage critical situations.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
