  • We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent want to join the ride? Position: Commissioning CoordinatorWe are now looking for a Commissioning Coordinator to join our Project team in Itajaí/SC, Brazil .
  • In this role, you will report to the Manager Construction Sites 2 within Wärtsilä and to the Project Manager.
  • Your responsibility will include coordinating commissioning activities (planning, organization, and coordination) between the shipyard, customer, site installation team, and engineering team.
  • Please submit resumes in English.
  • Main Activities:Prepare commissioning plans with an emphasis on controlling the schedule of assigned services.
  • Support the smooth execution of planned activities.
  • Assist team leadership.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, both externally and internally.
  • Ensure all process-related requirements are executed with quality, in accordance with rules and within established deadlines.
  • Serve as the main contact point for commissioning engineers, site commissioning team, Wärtsiläs site installation team, shipyard, customer, and subcontractors for activities related to Wärtsiläs scope of supply.
  • Qualifications and Skills:Electrical engineer with approximately 5 years of relevant experience in complex projects.
  • Knowledge of shipbuilding, especially in power distribution and alarm systems, is advantageous.
  • Experience with electrotechnical installations on ships or similar, such as power generation and distribution.
  • Experience in planning commissioning procedures.
  • Knowledge of electrotechnical installation procedures and regulations (e.

  • Occupational safety and HSE awareness.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Leadership, initiative, and independence.
  • Strong understanding of complex processes.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
