  • Job Description We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commis III to join our culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
  • As a Commis III, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of various hot dishes according to recipes and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service Support senior chefs in menu preparation and execution Participate in food presentation and plating to meet our high standards Properly store and rotate food items to minimize waste and maintain freshness Assist in inventory management and stock rotation Contribute ideas for menu improvements and new dishes Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment Continuously develop culinary skills and knowledge under the guidance of senior chefs Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen Expertise in hot kitchen operations and techniques Culinary education or relevant vocational training Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Proficiency in knife skills and various cooking methods Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Basic English language skills; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Additional Information Being a Raffles employee means embodying and conveying the brand and the company mindset through our Heartiest service culture.
