  • What You'll Do As a Lead IT Architect, you will work closely with case team members to assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies, develop architectural solutions, and apply your technical expertise within business contexts.
  • You will be responsible for delivering a specific project module and developing technical concepts for that module.
  • Additionally, you will coach other project members and potentially lead workstreams.
  • You will work on a variety of technology topics, applying your architectural consulting skills to strategic questions.
  • You will be supported by extensive training, including the same program as all BCG consultants, along with technology-specific training and mentoring to build your skills.
  • What You'll Bring Experience: 8+ years in cloud architecture, cloud strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting, with a proven track record in leading IT implementation projects.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in designing cloud architectures, including requirements gathering, conceptual and technical design, high availability, and disaster recovery scenarios.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance for cloud deployments, cloud lock-in avoidance strategies, and multi-cloud designs.
  • Understanding of infrastructure automation, scalability, and cloud component sizing.
  • Experience with major CSP portfolios of XaaS services.
  • Desirable Expertise: Familiarity with regulations and standards like DORA, GDPR, NIS2, and data sovereignty strategies.
  • Experience developing and enforcing cloud governance policies for cost, security, and resource optimization.
  • Proficiency in implementing cloud security strategies, including tools for monitoring and threat detection.
  • Interpersonal & Leadership Skills: Analytical Mindset: Ability to evaluate complex IT ecosystems and recommend optimizations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Experience guiding teams and collaborating across departments to align with business goals.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in industries such as Banking, Insurance, Energy, or Telecommunications, delivering tailored IT solutions.
