  • Youll enjoy working at KPI Mining as a Business Development Manager if you enjoy genuinely partnering with customers, developing new business, and solving interesting problems.
  • Combine your extensive mine planning experience as a Mining Engineer or similar Mining professional credentials along with your exceptional interpersonal and commercial skills to oversee and grow KPI Mining customer base worldwide.
  • Given KPI Minings global reach, there will be some travel.
  • What Youll Do:Develop and execute on strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the companys customer base.
  • Develop new business, draft proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Build collaborative relationships with customer stakeholders, including technical teams, managers, and corporate executives.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to the management team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and industry trends.
  • To qualify for the role, you must have:Minimum of 7 years experience in direct sales.
  • Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character.
  • About You:You have held previous sales or customer relationship management roles and dealt with commercial negotiations.
  • Solid experience in software sales in the Mining industry.
  • Degree-qualified in Mining Engineering or similar technical qualification.
  • Significant experience in the mining industry, holding extensive experience in sales and business development.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is a must; Spanish would be considered an asset.
