  • We are looking for a talented Telecommunications Solutions Engineer with the following qualifications and responsibilities: Design Blue Planet solutions in collaboration with the Delivery Architect and Project team, creating network, service topology, and visualizations for telecommunication/networking technologies.
  • Participate in and support customer discussions to understand requirements, clarify implementation details, and conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Write and maintain detailed solution documentation.
  • Implement project solutions using Java, Spring, Neo4J, JSON, REST, JUnit, Angular, Drools.
  • Write and optimize database queries and procedures for Neo4J and SQL databases.
  • Support configuration management scripts for Blue Planets CI/CD processes.
  • Create device and service models for technologies such as DWDM/OTN, SONET, MPLS, GPON, FTTH.
  • Continuously train in new technologies and Blue Planet products.
  • Manage infrastructure automation using Terraform and integrate it into deployment pipelines.
  • Minimum Requirements: Background in telecommunication technologies such as SONET, HFC, Wireless, DWDM, Ethernet, 5G, and their representation in OSS Inventory and Automation systems.
  • Experience in implementing enterprise-level software solutions for mission-critical OSS systems.
  • Experience working in vendor professional service organizations on fast-paced projects.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Oracle Unified Method (OUM).
  • Additional Skills and Experience: Backend development frameworks/libraries: Maven, Spring Data, Security, MVC.
  • Backend testing frameworks/libraries: JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Cucumber.
  • Frontend development frameworks/libraries: Angular 2+, React, Node.
  • js/npm, D3.
  • js, Gulp.
  • Other skills: AWS Cloud, CI/CD, ElasticSearch, Drools, Kafka, ReST (Spring MVC), SSO (LDAP, Reverse Proxy, OAuth2), Camunda/BPMN/OSM/Workflow.
  • Programming fundamentals: design patterns, data structures, relational and graph databases.
