  • We are looking for a Bid & Proposals Specialist to join our team! Your responsibilities: Lead the bidding and proposal processes, ensuring the successful presentation and follow-up of Kapsch opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional Sales team to support presales, bidding, and proposal activities.
  • Validate associated risks and ensure compliance with legal, economic, and technical requirements based on customer needs, while guaranteeing timely delivery, high quality, and competitive pricing.
  • Coordinate with Solutions Specialists to ensure technical offers and cost analyses align with bid and proposal requirements, meeting customer-defined scopes and objectives.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the status of submitted offers, active opportunities, and the projected pipeline.
  • Stay informed on market and technology trends related to the Kapsch portfolio, aligning them with the assigned market.
  • Engage in continuous self-training on Kapsch solutions to stay up-to-date.
  • Ensure adherence to Kapsch procedures throughout the bid and proposal processes.
  • Identify and develop commercial opportunities within bids, proposals, and ongoing opportunities with both potential and current customers, working closely with the Sales team for upselling.
  • Provide technical knowledge, advice, and support to sales representatives, resellers, and customers during the sales process, addressing product/service technical queries and bidding aspects to maximize the benefits of Kapsch offerings.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Your Profile: Proven experience in Bid Development.
  • Knowledge of urban traffic, tolling systems (Plaza and MLFF), ITS solutions (highways and tunnels), and/or telecommunications.
  • Engineering degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Portuguese.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or English.
  • Project delivery and implementation management experience is an asset.
