O que você irá fazer

  • The Associate Electrical Power Systems Engineer will work with the Global Electrical Power Systems engineering team to support the development and certification of transport category airplanes.
  • Review documentation and generate artifacts to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements, related to power generation, distribution functions, lighting and proximity sensing.
  • Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
  • Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Resolve problems concerning and provide other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
  • Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
  • This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.
  • This position is hybrid.
  • This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
  • This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  • Must have a Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):Some knowledge or experience in Product Development life cycle and applicable regulations.
  • Some knowledge or experience in Safety Assessment standards.
  • Familiar with Agile methodology (ex.
  • JIRA).
  • Some knowledge or experience with supplier qualification (ex.
  • DO-160).
  • Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
  • Additional Information: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
  • Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
