Reporting into the Lead Service Engineer, our Marine division have an exciting opportunity to bring on board an Apprentice Service Technicians on a permanent basis at our site in Brazil.
You as our new Apprentice Service Technician will be undertaking an Apprentice position to learn, develop and qualify as a qualified service technician within Survitec.
Your role will involve you shadowing and supporting our qualified service technicians daily to service our safety products such as life rafts and life jackets.
**What You Can Expect from the Role****Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:- You will be supporting and shadowing the qualified Service Technicians to install, maintain and repair Survitec safety equipment to standard.
- You be assisting specialists set up and test new products or processes; installs complex systems according to training and competence level, seeking guidance and support where needed- You will learn to carry out preventive maintenance inspections under supervision, developing the skills to identify and diagnose requirement for equipment and systems emergency repairs- Develop knowledge and understanding of Survitec policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards,You will have the opportunity to develop in your role and feel proud of the work you do.
