O que você irá fazer

  • Working for a company that invents entire categories and industries means youll be challenged to creatively apply your deep legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law.
  • As Privacy Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impacting Apples business and products globally.
  • You will work directly with business and engineering teams to design innovative privacy solutions for products as well as across the legal department on Apple activities and regulatory issues.
  • You will be responsible for advising and providing support on privacy-related topics for Apples various products and services and working alongside legal, engineering, and business teams.
  • This role will primarily provide support to the Privacy and Law Enforcement team in Apple Latin America and Caribbean (ALAC), with a particular focus on Brazil.
  • Description Assist with escalations regarding the handling of privacy complaints, queries and data subject rights.
  • Provide advice in relation to requests from courts and law enforcement agencies.
  • Respond to regulator inquiries and investigations.
  • Support compliance and auditing frameworks.
  • Assist with drafting of and updates to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience with privacy in a law firm, business, or regulatory environment.
  • Strong knowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, and regulator and other guidance and standards.
  • Law Degree, full Brazilian legal qualification - Admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  • Preferred Qualifications Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively with numerous people at all levels throughout the company.
  • Sound business judgment and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change.
  • Demonstrated ability, in a positive, commercial, and practical manner, to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
