DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function of the Pedros organisationImplementing policies and standard operating procedures within the accounts payable functionManaging and maintaining the accounts payable recordsReview of Accounts payable processing, allocations and payment packsLeading and managing the accounts payable team, providing guidance and supportImplementing and enhancing financial controls and ensuring best practices are appliedCompiling information relating to accounts payable for the audit process for both external and internal auditReview and reporting on supplier age analysisPeople and performance management for the accounts payable teamA strong understanding of the accounts payable processReporting on accounts payableKnowledge of the accounts payable function in the retail and/or FMCG industriesPOS Gaap / Micros knowledge, including WMS systems and ERP systems such as Sage EvolutionREQUIREMENTS:A degree or diploma in finance or accountingMinimum of 3 years in a supervisory role and 5 years experience in accounts payableCertification in Sage 200 or similar ERP systems is advantageousExperienced in Pastel Partner or Pastel Evolution advantageousMust have experience managing a team#J-18808-Ljbffr
