Position Summary:An Accounting Analyst at AstroPay ensures accurate financial operations by managing day-to-day accounting tasks, tracking company and intercompany transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
They handle month-end and annual closings, analyze financial variations, and collaborate on implementing new accounting systems while supporting internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities:Perform month-end and annual closing, partnering with the reporting and consolidation team, and analyzing month-to-month variations.
Ensure accurate tracking of all company and intercompany transactions, managing day-to-day accounting operations.
Execute accounting analysis and reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies, implementing necessary updates and ensuring adherence across the organization.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement new accounting systems or modules, ensuring seamless integration and consistency in accounting records and transactions.
Actively participate in the systems migration process.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including external and internal auditors, in order to ensure company objectives.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:Bachelors degree in Accounting.
+2 years experience in accounting in the payment industry or a related field, working in a senior position.
Prior Big 4 experience is highly valuable.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Advanced proficiency in financial software tools and Excel, including Oracle.
Fluency in English.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proactive and results-oriented attitude.
