Job DescriptionResponsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment under the responsibility of the Engine Department.
Familiar with machinery and systems to restore essential services quickly and safely in emergencies.
Must understand and adhere to the company''s procedures, policies, and instructions.
Ensure proper training of subordinates.
Supervise and ensure maintenance and repair work in the Engine Department is performed safely and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Assist the Chief Engineer with the planned maintenance system.
Follow work orders for the operation, conservation, and cleaning of engines and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Maintain updated records in the maintenance control system.
You are suitable for this job if you have:Completed EFOMM, ASOM, or ATOM training.
Certificate of Competence (COC) III/1.
CIR - 2nd Engineer.
STCW - Fast Rescue Boats Course completed.
EBCP.
IMCA.
Proficiency in English.
Solid knowledge of PLSV-type vessels.
Skills: Cross-Cultural Communication, Leadership, Equipment Operation, Armoring.
